Summer Houses or Outhouse Offices

More UK households are in need of an extra room to work from home. Whilst some may take a fancy to their garage, others might decide the shed is the way to go for them. We can supply power to your summerhouse and/or your brick-built shed so that you can set up your space how you like it and get to work in peace.

What kind of work can we do for you?

In your summerhouse or brick-built shed we can give you all the fixings you need to make it a comfortable place to work or to relax. There is plenty of things we can do for you to make that dream come true:

  • Installing a large variety of different light fixtures.
  • Setting up an ultramodern speaker system.
  • Wiring some sockets.
  • Putting in wifi .
  • Hooking up your big screen TV.

Alongside these options, there’s plenty of other things we can do to make your outdoor office a safe space for you. And with our experienced team at your disposal, almost anything is possible.

Things to consider beforehand

There’s a few things about making your summer house, shed or outhouse into a space catered toward relaxation. It’s especially important, firstly, that you know exactly what you would like. This allows us to plan accordingly so that we can get the right equipment to get the job done correctly. Before we begin, we’ll need to know where you would like the light fixtures and sockets inside your outhouse. Other key details we would need to be clued up on are where your electrical panel is found, if there’s a spare circuit on your fuse board that we can use, or if you’d like an isolator.

Installation & Completion

Then comes the cabling. With this, we’d need to know how you would like the cables to run to your shed. If they’re armored cables, they’ll need to go underground through a trench. There’s no need to panic, we won’t need to dig up your whole garden, all we’ll need is a trench about 18 inches deep, and it doesn’t have to be massively wide either. But once that’s sorted, we just have to hook it up to a consumer unit and sort out the wiring from there.
